Loser Machine UK
Loser Machine is a Californian skate and moto clothing brand, built for people who live fast and don't ask permission. Launched in 2008 as an extension of founder Adrian Lopez's professional skateboarding career, it has grown into a full clothing range built on original artwork: graphic tees, fleece, shirts, jackets and headwear, plus skate decks and genuine motorbike gear — all carrying the brand's skate and bike DNA. Where it started
First and foremost, Adrian Lopez is a skateboarder. A San Diego native, he was there for the earliest conceptual discussions of Zero Skateboards and became its first official team rider in 1996, turning pro in 1997 after his debut part in Thrill of It All. His anti-social, no-nonsense style — set to classic heavy metal — helped define Zero's identity, and he went on to era-defining parts in Misled Youth and Dying to Live before riding for Mystery Skateboards, the sister brand to Zero. A long-time C1RCA Footwear pro, his signature AL50 shoe became one of skateboarding's most enduring models. Loser Machine grew straight out of that world: Lopez had always been into old cars, clothing, motorcycles and the San Diego coastal scene, and wanted to build something that could embrace all of it. He put his life savings into Loser Machine and its sister brand Dark Seas, and never looked back. Where Dark Seas is the coast, Loser Machine is the streets, the skatepark, the garage and the racetrack — the same do-it-your-own-way spirit, carried across. The name came from a group of friends once written off as counterculture, and the motto has stuck ever since — “We don't care what you think, and we invite you to do the same.”
What we make
The Loser Machine range covers graphic t-shirts, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and vests, headwear and genuine bike gear — moto jerseys, riding gloves and armoured denim built for the road, not just the look. The artwork is steeped in the world of the everyday craftsman and the mischievous gentleman, past and present, pulling from skateboarding, motorcycle culture, traditional tattoo art and hot-rod and kustom kulture. The collaborations are chosen with intent: Mooneyes, the legendary motorcycle artist David Mann, Dirt Bike Kidz, and Zero Skateboards. Designed in California, made to last, and now here in the UK.
